Learn Warhammer 40,000. Then play it without missing a step.

You can already build and paint an army. This site fills in the part nobody hands you a manual for: what actually happens when you sit down to play a game.

1. Read the guide first

A short series of pages, in the order you need them: what to bring, how to build a legal list, how to read a datasheet, how a turn works, and how a winner is decided. Every rule is illustrated with a worked example.

2. Use the tracker at the table

A step-by-step companion for your phone, mid-game. It walks both players through every phase in order, keeps score, and surfaces the things new players forget — battle-shock checks, objective control, reserves arriving. No account, works offline once loaded.

Which points level should I start at? The guide recommends 1,000 points as your first real game — it's an official army size (Incursion) with a manageable table and game length, and it's what most new-player resources and events assume you already know.

About accuracy. This site is written for 11th Edition Warhammer 40,000. Wherever a rule, number, or procedure hasn't yet been confirmed against Games Workshop's own current documents, it's marked [VERIFY] rather than guessed. See each guide page for links to the official free downloads.
